Is this the worst Osborne interview ever?
Here's George Osborne in October 2010, boasting repeatedly and to comic effect of a "double dose of good news", and "the strongest growth for this part of the year for a decade".
The only problem was that the growth he was bragging about had been bolstered by his predecessors' modest stimulus.
What happened next? Osborne's own Spending Review.
The UK economy is now smaller than when the Coalition took office – and this decline means the government can't even achieve its key aim of closing the deficit.
