East Devon Against Cuts
We are an East Devon-based community movement formed in opposition to the cuts to the public sector that our government has imposed, particularly the cuts to frontline services such as education.
The cuts will damage our economy, hurt the poorest in our society, and allow large corporations that caused the economic crisis to benefit.
We are utterly against the scapegoating of the poor, the disabled, immigrants and ethnic minorities by the government, and the discrimination against these people that occurs all too often nowadays, considering that it has no place in our society.
We are willing to work alongside people of all political beliefs and from all the community, as this is a nationwide issue.
