Scottish Unemployed Workers’ Network

Are you unemployed or underemployed?

Are you fed up with people on the broo being treated as scroungers and being blamed for an economic crisis caused by a system that favours greedy financiers?

Do you think it is time that people listened to unemployed workers?

If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then join us in the Scottish Unemployed Workers’ Network.

The SUWN is a web-based organisation for unemployed people across Scotland. It provides both a source of practical advice and information, and - perhaps more importantly - a vehicle for campaigning and organising. It is helping unemployed workers to get their points heard, and helping us come together (on line and also actually) to resist both punitive legislation and popular prejudice.

The SUWN is an independent organisation working with unions and other groups who share its aims.
