Bedroom Tax Activists - a Liverpool photographer reports

Working with a local journalist James Margeson, I provided photography for an article highlighting the work of anti-bedroom tax campaigners in Liverpool. We spent the afternoon at a drop-in centre in rooms above a pub and met members of the local community, as well as several of the volunteers. Really interesting, positive and proactive work.
They give advice on all sorts of issues and have become a real community focal point over the last couple of months. Also it acts as an autonomus food bank, with people dropping off food items and others picking up things that they desperately need. Maximum respect to all involved.
Anyway, the article is here - Vice Magazine Merseyside Bedroom Tax .
I’m a freelance Liverpool photographer - for more information or if you have an interesting story and are nearby, please contact me via my site.
