Works to improve the conditions of life of all the inhabitants of Barton and surrounding area, by working together with local people and statutory authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare and leisure time occupation. The charity is funded under a one-off grants programme, but usually receives some funding every year.Local authority funding cut: £1,450. Details: Received £5,200 in 2010/11; cut by £1,450 in 2011/12.
