Charles House is a respite care home situated in West Heath, Birmingham.

They care for disabled children and teenagers with complex needs.

Birmingham City Council wants to close Charles House as part of its budget cuts, and are proposing foster carers or privately provided care instead.
The parents of children of who use Charles House are fighting to keep it open.

Our eldest son Owen, who has Severe Autism, ADHD, Severe Learning Disability, Complex Behaviours and is non-verbal, goes to Charles House for overnight respite where he’s cared for by skilled, experienced, committed and caring staff in a fun, safe and stimulating environment.
