Guildhall School of Music and Drama teaching grants EC2Y
Sector: Arts and culture, Education
Guildhall School of Music and Drama is facing the abolition of its entire teaching grant under the government’s plans to radically cut higher education funding following the Browne Review.
In order to make up this massive funding shortfall, Guildhall will have to increase tuition fees to at least £7,000 a year - although many institutions will go further and treble fees to £9,000 a year.
