Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust is forecasting a reduction of 560 full-time equivalent staff from 2011-15, with 140 staff posts going each year. The Trust expects management, admin and clerical savings to be higher than for clinical posts, with management costs being cut by 6 percent in 2011/12.
The Trust operates from two main sites - Castle Hill Hospital in Cottingham and Hull Royal Infirmary. The Trust provides a full range of acute services to the people of Hull and East Yorkshire area and also a number of specialist services to North Yorkshire, North and North East Lincolnshire.
