Huntingdonshire play equipment PE29
Sector: Children and young people
Huntingdonshire District Council is cutting its budget for children’s play equipment from £60-70k in 2010/11 to £20k a year from 2012 onwards. This remaining money will be spent on play areas which are “deemed to be of significance for the district generally” rather the maintenance and development of smaller parks that serve immediate localities; town and parish councils will generally be asked to fund these smaller parks themselves.
