Leeds College of Music teaching grants LS2
Sector: Arts and culture, Education
Leeds College of Music (LCM) is facing the abolition of its entire teaching grant under the government’s plans to radically cut higher education funding following the Browne Review.
In order to make up this massive funding shortfall, LCM will have to increase tuition fees to at least £7,000 a year - although many institutions will go further and treble fees to £9,000 a year.
