Cuts
Luton and Dunstable NHS staff LU4
Sector: Health
Luton and Dunstable NHS Foundation Trust expects to reduce overall staffing by the equivalant of 200 full-time posts. The majority of the axed posts will be removed through natural wastage and restricting the use of agency staff, but around 50 of the posts under review would entail redundancies.
The Trust runs the Luton & Dunstable Hospital, which serves a local population of over 350,000 from Luton, Dunstable, and other towns and villages in the south Bedfordshire and north Hertfordshire region.
Figures obtained under the Freedom of Information Act.
