February 17 - North Lincolnshire Council announced that 553 posts (338 FTE) will go over the next four years. This is on top of 210 jobs already earmarked to be lost via a recruitment freeze bought in last June.
Budget and cuts approved Wednesday 23 February - £15m budget cut including front-line services.
Examples of cuts include reducing mental health budgets, closure of public conveniences, reduced hours for leisure centres/cultural facilities, reduced neighbourhood services (grass cutting, street sweeping etc), local sports grants, reduction in specialist schools support (down to statutory minimums) and end of universal youth services.
