Queen Elizabeth Hospital staff PE30
Sector: Health
The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn NHS Trust plans to reduce staffing by the equivalent of 224 full-time posts between 2010 and 2015 - around 10 percent of total staffing.
Of the reduction, 18 clinical posts will go, with 206 going in non-clinical areas.
The Trust runs a 514-bed general hospital providing services to West Norfolk and parts of Breckland, North East Cambridgeshire and South Lincolnshire. The main hospital complex is on the outskirts of King’s Lynn, although some specialist services or clinics are provided at outlying facilities such as the North Cambridgeshire Hospital in Wisbech, and Swaffham Community Hospital.
