Royal Academy of Music teaching grants NW1
Sector: Arts and culture, Education
The Royal Academy of Music is facing the abolition of its entire teaching grant under the government’s plans to radically cut higher education funding following the Browne Review.
In order to make up this massive funding shortfall, the Royal Academy will have to increase tuition fees to at least £7,000 a year - although many institutions will go further and treble fees to £9,000 a year.
