Vine special needs education

Location: UK » North East » LS

Vine is run by Leeds City Council and is based in several locations across the city. It provides local people who have high support needs with education designed around their learning requirements.

Leeds City Council plans to review the provision of educational support for young people/adults with learning disabilities at Vine. The council says the current financial model is not sustainable in the medium-term as funding will be reduced significantly from August 2011.

An options report, including an equality impact assessment, will be brought to the council’s executive board for decision in February 2011.
