Wigan council: increasing admission charges for day centre activities WN1

From the council’s 2012 - 2013 budget papers:
“Admission for Day Centre Activities - This charge is for Service users in receipt of Direct Payments, Individualised Budgets and Independent Living Funds who attend day centres, accompanied by their personal assistant, to engage in activities. It is proposed to increase the admission charge from £3.00 to £3.30, in line with budget savings targets and is payable only by the service user, not the personal assistant.”
