I’m gutted to hear funding to this brilliant music scheme has been cut

I’m really gutted to hear that the funding to the Bromley Youth Music Trust has been reduced.
I grew up in the borough and played in their wind bands, learned music theory, went on holiday classes and sung in youth choirs at their centre. They give so many children and young people access to music that they otherwise would never encounter and I still remember how wonderful it felt to play in a large wind orchestra and sing in their ensemble choirs.
I really hope that they can survive financially as I remember the people running it as totally devoted, brilliant teachers and my experience of the BYMT was totally positive as well as being life enhancing. I can think of one friend from school who is a concert flautist thanks to encouragement and teaching from BYMT during her secondary school career.
