This scheme offered great support at the school where I was head. I’m deeply saddened it’s being cut
Testimony relates to: Conflict and Change Mediation Service, Newham, E6
Conflict and Change worked with the entire staff of the Newham school where I was headteacher. They helped us to understand how to deal with our own difficulties and how that related to our understanding children’s behaviour. They were instrumental in the early stages of turning around a failing school (which is now good with outstanding features). Later, they supported us in helping to promote more positive relationships across the school and offered support for the local community in resolving difficulties. I am now working in another London area but am still a Newham resident. I am deeply saddened that such an effective organisation may cease to exist.
