When is a spare room not a spare room?

The bedroom tax uses Alice in Wonderland notions of under-occupation! I live in a two-bedroom property, my son stays with me four days a week, yet because I am not in receipt of the child benefit my sons room is considered extra to my needs and it is deemed he is not living there. The system does not recognise me as a parent. I now stand to lose £15 a week from my £103 a week Incapacity benefit. This is the thin end of the wedge - this Government wants the poor crushed as they have no human validity in a system that only recognises your value as a unit of GDP. Let’s fight this!
